Joey Wahler is a versatile and entertaining sports voice in the No. 1 media market. Wahler has written for New York Post Sports Week, MSG.com and SNY.tv. He has a flair for the unique and the offbeat. His TV work has earned eight New York Emmy Award nominations, including for Best Sports Anchor and Best Sportscast in 2010, and Best Sports Anchor in 2011. After serving as the voice of two Division I men's basketball teams, Long Island University and St. Peter's College, both of whom made the NCAA Tournament in 2011, Joey Wahler is now calling games for Wagner College of the Northeast Conference. The Seahawks are coached by Dan Hurley, in his second season assisted by his brother, former Duke star Bobby Hurley, Jr. Both are sons of Bob Hurley, Sr., legendary coach of St. Anthony High School in Jersey City, New Jersey, and a Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer. Wagner's non-conference schedule includes three NCAA Tournament teams from last season: defending National Champions, the University of Connecticut, the University of Pittsburgh, and defending Ivy League Champions, Princeton University.
